The average person applies 300 chemicals to their body every single day, and 80 of those chemicals before breakfast! Most are from four things: soap, make-up, shampoo & hair care. The biggest pollutants in our home are fabric softener, dryer sheets, air freshener plug-ins, and candles. Health and safety data only exists for about 15% of all the chemicals out there.

Essential Oils are a better way. They are totally chemical free, steam distilled or cold pressed from pure plants. There is nothing in them but that one oil. There are many, many uses for these oils such as; cleaning supplies, personal care products like toothpaste, deodorant and so much more. Come to this class and learn how to kick the chemicals in your house to the curb. I will walk you step by step through the process. It’s easy, and it is a small change you can make to protect your family and take charge of what’s in your home and what you are putting in and on, your bodies.

The first week will be a 101 Introduction class, and the second week will be about integrating oils and toxic -free cleaning products into our homes along with recipes and make and takes. Please choose the September or October option.

With the right add on tools, the experience is very similar to using MS Word, and there is no need to hit the save button. Google Docs is also free, which makes it a very economical choice for aspiring (and experienced) writers. It also allows people to collaborate or offer critiques in real time without having to send emails with attachments.

With all the different apps that are solid one minute and gone the next, it can be hard to keep up. Facebook can be a great resource not just for catching up with people you went to High School with, but for finding local restaurants, getting directions, finding local (and not local) businesses, finding groups of like-minded people close to you (or close to where you want to be), and so much more.

In each class, I’ll show 3-5 tips for savvy Facebooking, then turn it over for a Q and A. This class will be taught with your phones, most things can be done on a phone as well as a laptop.
We’ll create a fan page for the class where students can get help from group members as everyone is learning, and beyond.  It is a great social tool, and handouts will be given.
