Travel Quarantine Information for Central York School District Families Taking Educational Trips/Tours in 2020
Central York School District is currently following the PA Department of Health guidance related to travel for all students, faculty and staff.
Students, faculty or staff members who travel or plan to travel to one of the states included on the list will be required to quarantine for 14 days upon their return to Pennsylvania.
This means that students who are attending school in person this fall will need to stay home for a 14-day period if they travel to one of the areas included on the list.* Students would also be excluded from participating in-person in any activities (athletics, music, clubs, etc.) during this quarantine.
If your child does plan to travel to one of the areas included on this list, please work with your child’s teachers and/or principal in advance of any trips to plan for remote learning during the required quarantine. The district will work with families in these situations to ensure minimal disruption to learning occurs while you take precautions to ensure the health and safety of your family and your child’s classmates and teachers.
*Please know, this list is maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and subject to change. If you are planning out-of-state travel, please check the list routinely so you are aware of any changes that may impact your family.
