  6  Things that you need to do to play CYMS football:

1. PIAA Physical Requirements ( Most Important)
Physicals are available at Central York High School on June 1, 2019 from 9 AM until 1 PM and June 17, 2019 from 6PM until 7PM.
Physical information can be found on the high school athletic page.
Be sure to complete the on line physical registration.  If you have any questions, please contact the CYMS athletic trainer, Rick Guinan, at rguinan@cysd.k12.pa.us.


The paperwork required for sport participation for 2019/20 is now uploaded and ready to be completed.  All lines shaded in red require completion.  Information about sportsware and required paperwork can be found here: 



2. Complete the Impact Testing:

  • All 7th graders and Any New 8th grade players must complete the Impact Testing Requirements. Information will be handed out during physicals, or you can check the high school athletics page throughout the summer.

  • Impact:

    If you did not receive an Impact Test (brain baseline testing… required for all sports). Please sign up for a time to take this at the high school. The link is below.


3. Mandatory CYMS Football Camp (Required)
August 12th through August 16th (8:00am-12pm) no exceptions!  Doors of CYMS will open at 7:30am.  Players are expected to be picked up promptly at 12pm.

4. Join the CYMS Schoology Course
Please email Coach Glusco at mglusco@cysd.k12.pa.us to get Schoology code.  This site will answer frequently asked questions, provide information regarding important dates, highlight other upcoming events, give access to playbooks, etc.

5. Join the CYMS Football 2019 Group on the Remind App
Text the message @cymsfo to 81010.

6. Fill out the Contact Form by scanning the QR code

·      Doors will open at 7:30 AM

·      Water will be provided for athletes but they may bring their own

·      All football equipment will be issued on equipment handout dates

·      If athlete brings own mouth piece or chin straps, it must be approved by our trainer

·      Athletes will need either rubber or plastic tipped football cleats

·      Athletes will need a pair of running shoes or sneakers in case of inclement weather

·      Athletes are not required to shower at the school after practice, but the necessary facilities are provided

·      Athletes are advised to bring a dry change of clothes for after practice

·      Please make sure all physical paperwork and Impact testing is complete before the start of camp or the athlete will not be able to participate
